OG Mag Wiggle Wart Lure Blank — Detailed Product Description

The OG Mag Wiggle Wart is a large-bodied, deep-diving crankbait designed for anglers and custom lure painters who want the legendary Wiggle Wart action in a heavier, more aggressive profile. Its rounded body, pronounced diving bill, internal weighting system, and wide hunting action make it an excellent choice for targeting larger bass, walleye, pike, salmon, steelhead, and other predatory gamefish.

This unpainted transparent blank gives custom painters a clean foundation for creating crawfish, shad, perch, firetiger, metallic, transparent, or specialty color patterns. The clear body also allows the internal weight chambers and rattling components to remain visible, making it easier to plan transparent and candy-style finishes.

Lure Design and Action

The Mag Wiggle Wart features a short, bulky crankbait body with a high back, rounded belly, and tapered nose. This compact but substantial profile produces strong water displacement and presents fish with a larger, easy-to-track target.

Its oversized molded diving bill creates a steep diving angle and generates the wide, side-to-side wobble associated with the Wiggle Wart family. During the retrieve, the lure digs downward quickly and maintains a strong rolling and hunting movement. When it contacts rock, gravel, timber, or other cover, it can deflect unpredictably and momentarily change direction—often triggering reaction strikes.

The lure’s internal weighting and rattle system add casting distance, stability, and underwater sound. Multiple internal components create a noticeable acoustic signature that helps fish locate the bait in stained water, low-light conditions, and deeper environments.
